How far in advance should I schedule a move?
We recommend scheduling your move at least 2-4 weeks in advance for the best availability. However, we understand that plans change, and we do our best to accommodate last-minute moves whenever possible. Contact us as soon as you know your move date!
What items can't be moved by your team?
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport:
- Hazardous materials (flammables, explosives, chemicals)
- Perishable items (food, plants)
- Valuables (cash, jewelry, important documents)
- Weapons and ammunition
- Grand pianos
We recommend transporting valuables and important documents yourself.
Can I help the movers?
For your safety and the safety of our crew, we ask that you do not assist with lifting or carrying items. Our team is trained and insured to handle your belongings safely. You can help by directing us where items should go!
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes! Matt's Motivated Movers is fully licensed and insured. We carry liability insurance to protect your belongings during the move. We're happy to provide proof of insurance upon request.

Do I need to be present during the move?
We recommend having someone present during both loading and unloading to answer questions and provide directions. If you can't be there, we can coordinate with a trusted representative.
Do you offer storage solutions?
Yes! We offer short-term and long-term storage solutions in secure facilities. Whether you need storage between moves or for an extended period, we can accommodate your needs.
My move-in date changed. What do I do?
No problem! We understand that moving dates can shift. Please contact us at least 2 days before your scheduled move to adjust your booking. Some changes may affect pricing, but we'll work with you to find a new date that works.
Do you connect or disconnect appliances and furniture?
Our team will gladly disassemble and reassemble furniture pieces.
What packing options do you offer?
We offer flexible packing services based on your needs:

- Partial packing: We pack fragile or difficult items
- Self-packing: We provide boxes and materials, you pack
